Newly enhanced Dashboard, online briefing tools, and approval workflow features offer more speed and ease for admation project management software clients.
Automaton created Admation project management software specifically for the advertising and marketing industry. Launching in 2007, the aim of the software was to help users solve the many challenges associated with managing marketing projects. Admation has since evolved to keep pace with a rapidly changing marketplace. Today Admation provides one fully-integrated tool with a range of inbuilt modules such as project, approval workflow, resource, and digital asset management.
The power of any software lies in the ability to listen to your customers, find out what their challenges are, and provide solutions based on their needs. As the market has evolved, so have our customers’ needs. It made sense to provide one project management tool that encompasses a range of features that could solve multiple problems.

According to the 2019 In-House Creative Industry Report, some creative teams are churning out in excess of 3,000 projects per year. The need for effective tools that streamline the full life cycle of a creative project has never been more pertinent. Automaton understands the need for the industry to remain agile, so Admation regularly launches new features to respond to the ever-increasing pressure to output more projects.
Admation’s enhanced features released this year
Admation’s latest features provide creative teams with more control over their briefing and approval workflow processes, especially when managing heavy workloads with tight deadlines.
1. More ease with online briefing tools
In Q4 2019, admation released a new feature that enables users to duplicate a brief to another deliverable in the same project. In Q1 2020, admation expanded upon this feature to allow users to duplicate a brief to another project entirely. This flexible feature eliminates repetitive manual work and costly errors when data is re-entered incorrectly. It’s also a huge time saver for busy creative teams.
2. Newly enhanced Dashboard
In Q1 2020, admation enhanced its live Dashboard with a focus on clarity and simplicity. The ‘In Progress’ tab was relabelled ‘Projects’ so that occasional users can now identify their list of projects in just seconds. ‘Approvals’ has been moved from the right-hand side of the header to the left-hand side between ‘Projects’ and ‘Ad Storage’. This better represents the chronological lifecycle of a job making the Dashboard more user-friendly than ever before.
3. New ‘Approval Submission’ button for faster approvals
In Q1 2020, admation also added a ‘New Approval Submission’ button to its Dashboard to provide quicker access to loading and submitting content for approval. Users have the option of selecting either a ‘New Project’ or ‘Existing Project’. This feature expedites the process of getting projects approved and to market.
4. More clarity reviewing markups
January was a big month for admation. In addition, a newly released feature now enables users to pin a markup so that it will stay visible onscreen. This allows stakeholders to review and approve artwork with more precision decreasing the potential for errors and high artwork revisions.
